So this is what one guy who covers the Gamecock football team for GamecockCentral.com wrote about this past Monday's (11/12/07) practice:
Once on the practice field, they spent a lot of time working on things you wouldn’t expect to have to work on 11 games into a season….staying home, tackling technique, getting off blocks, etc…
Monday’s practice was more like a practice you would see in August than in November. It was a back to basics workout for the team with a lot of 7-on-7 drills refreshing all of them how plays develop.
Now for some reason I pay about $8 a month for this service, but I do so because it's fun to read and post my thoughts on the Gamecocks in a forum. So after reading the post by that staff person for GamecockCentral, I posted that I couldn't believe that we pay Steve Spurrier a few million a year and after his 3rd year have a team that needs to learn fundamentals after the 10th week of the football season and that he poorly recruited what was needed to build a program. We have no real experience next year at QB and we have no offensive line due to poor recruiting. I also mentioned that even though they post a daily recruiting report saying how good or average the practice was, that someone must be missing something. How can practice always be good, but the team has to suddenly learn fundamentals after week 10. So what happened next? GamecockCentral deletes my post. So I repost it again, and sure enough they delete it again, and again and again. So since they can't delete this, I figured I'd put it here.

I should have known this would happen. Yahoo recently bought Rivals.com that runs GamecockCentral. Yahoo recently told the Chinese gov't the names of 2 Chinese citizens that said something negative about the Chinese gov't on one of their message boards. Those two Chinese citizens are now in jail in China.
***EDIT*** So now I've been blacklisted from being able to post on GamecockCentral even though I did nothing that meets the criteria for blacklisting.

Greetings! Brian must have banned me for some reason. I don't know why he did it except that I am a friend of Rusty the Rooster and was loyal to Rusty and wrote some articles for him. Whatever the reason, I have been banned from Central for years. There are several other good sites out there besides Central. How about giving me a link on your site.
Glad to see I'm not alone in this one. I don't often blog about the Gamecocks, but will check out the site that Chuck posted.
